Wanna See What I Bought??? 1st in Series for 2015

I have been doing this Series of Posts called "Wanna See What I Bought? " for some time now .

I love sharing some of the great buys that I am able to snag with all of you so that maybe you can find the same deals where you live.......

I had a routine Dr.'s Appointment the other day and I was off so I stopped at The Dollar Tree on the way home.............
It was the first day that temps. actually soared into the 30's in some time so it was a Heat Wave!!!!

Now I have not been "out" shopping in some time because of the very Cold weather and all the Snow and Ice that we have been having here in NEPA so I needed a bit of a "Shopping Fix".

I am sure you all know what I mean, right???????

So these are my Dollar Tree finds........

They also had aqua ribbon which I will be going back for!

Kitchen Items that are perfect for my Kitchen!

And look at these placemats!!

They have that Grain Sack look that is very popular now in Blog Land......

I bought 2.....

3 Way Bulbs.......

I have a lot of Vintage Lamps that have been rewired for 3 way lighting......

Then I headed over to Gabes which is in the same Shopping Center as Dollar Tree.........

I had received a $10 Gift Card from a Friend at work for my Birthday along with Birthday Money from my son, Jim.......

I bought this pretty aqua Throw which was $29.99, marked down to $9.00!

I could only find one of these venice lace curtain panels but for a mere $4.99 for venice lace, I bought it and I am sure I will figure out something to do with it!!

More Kitchen Items......

The Place Mats were only 49 cents and I like to use them on my Kitchen counter over by the Coffee pot to protect the counter top.......

The dish towel was $1.00.......

This Dress Barn lined jacket was only $12.99!!

I think it will be perfect for Spring but that is definitely a long way off here as high temps. for tomorrow, Sunday 2/15, are predicted to be about 9-10 degrees with 1-4 inches of snow overnight!!!!

I also bought black leather gloves with Thinsulate lining for $5.00.....

And 2 packs of Lace Toppers, one white and one ivory with 2 toppers in each pack marked down from $2.99 to $1.00 each!!

Your talking 50 cents a piece!!!

Now the lace is thin but one can never have enough lace in my book!!! And for that price, no less!!

All of this cost me nothing because of my Birthday gifts!!

Then, I went to Michaels.........

I had a 25% off entire purchase Coupon that included Sale Items too!!!

I bought these Chalk Board Items that were also on sale for 40% off.....

This is actually a Place mat of all things!!

I plan on doing a Craft project for the Craft Room with this.......

I also bought these Chalkboard Stickers but I did not want to use chalk to write on them so I bought a pack of White Paint Pens........

Here is a bit of a Sneak Peak at some of the things I have been doing in the Craft Room as part of my Big Time rearranging and reorganizing of that room.......

And the Paint Pens were perfect for marking the stickers for these drawers filled with ribbon flowers........

I also bought these miniatures which are for Fairy Gardens but will work nicely for my Victorian Doll House......

The cactus pot was on Clearance for 99 cents.......

As I walked up and down the aisles, there were lots of things on Clearance for 99 cents......

2 packs of stickers.......

2 packs of Chalkboard Letters......

2 packs of each type of gems, chalk and white glittered clothes pins!!

All 99 cents each!!

Another one of my Co Workers and friend from work brought some things in to me......

I have given her some things that I was clearing out and she has done the same for me too!!

These were all things that she had bought at Lark Mountain Market Place which is an Antique Co Op that I love to go to.....

You may remember that I bought my table for my Nostalgic Stereo there......

These are what she gifted to me on our Birthday as we share the same Birthday!!

These are actually surrounded by gold foil but it looks white in the photos......

And this sweet Victorian Boot!!

Does she know my style of what???????

Loved all of it!!

Joe goes to the Mohegan Sun Casino which is about 10 minutes from our house......

Not only does he earn credit for FREE Slot Play but he also earns Comp Points with which he can buy things at the Retail Stores or use at the Restaurants.......

In my next post , I will show you the Lenox Tea Set that He brought home for me that he bought with Comp Points so in other words, It was FREE!!!

I hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day!!

I had Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights off and Joe had off Friday, Saturday and Sunday which was his normal every 6th weekend off working for the Post Office and then Monday too because it is a National Holiday....

With high temps. for the days in the single digits and some below zero temps. at night plus a few inches of snow predicted, we were happy to nest inside on the weekend!!!

We never made a big thing out of Valentine's Day but we will be celebrating in our own home with a nice dinner of Lobster Tails made by Joe......

And Scallops from our favorite Sea Food Place......

Joe is more of a Romantic than I am.....

He will be the mushy cards where I buy the funny cards......

But they say opposites attract!!

I honestly don't enjoy going out to eat especially with every Tom, Dick and Harry flooding the Restaurants for each special occasion.

I would much rather have a nice relaxing and comfortable dinner in the privacy of my own home!!!

I deal with people all the time in my profession and usually when they are at their worst because they are ill so I just want a break when I am home!!

Stay warm and safe as this Winter proves to be one of the Coldest and Snowiest for the East Coast and other parts of the country!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to those who live in the New England States who are being buried with record breaking snow fall amounts.......
