It's all in the Details......

I would like to showcase the Stegmaier Mansion in Wilkes Barre, Pa. which recently had the honor of being featured in the Jan. issue of Victorian Homes magazine. To read the article and learn more about The Stegmaier Mansion please click onto http://www.stegmaiermansion.com/
These are the Stained Glass windows in the Dining Room.
This is the Dining Room. Our Victorian Society is blessed to be able to hold some of our monthly meetings at the mansion.

Some of the amazing art work in the mansion. Check out the size of the frames!!!!
Shown here is Lisa Lewis, Victoriana Lady, giving a tour of the opulent Amelia Suite. Lisa is the director of the Victorian Friendship Society of Northeastern Pa. and the official tour guide of the mansion. To read more about Victoriana Lady, please click on to http://www.victorianalady.com/

Some of the detailed wallpaper that covers the ceilings and walls throughout the mansion.

These photos were taken in the bathroom in the Amelia Suite. I love the cabinet that houses the sink and take a look at the Shower Curtains and corner medalions!

Imagine yourself in the Sitting Room in the Amelia Suite , nestling up with a good book and a cup of tea on this comfy sofa as the sun streams through these beautiful stained glass windows. I can just see myself there now............

When you stand to the side of the staircase in the foyer and look upwards through the three floors, this is what you will see........an absolutely breathtaking stained glass sun window!!!

Below are photos of more of the wonderful details throughout the mansion....

Below are photos of the gardens and some of the outside details of the Stegmaier Mansion....

That concludes my tour of the amazing Stegmaier Mansion which is the vision of owner Joe Matteo who has presented the opulence of the Gilded Age in his painstakingly breathtaking restoration of this historic mansion.
